About

The goal of Operation Fresh Water is to provide a stable water source for the people of Burlgate, Kenya. Pastor Steven (Isaac’s dad) donated a section of his land in Burglate, this is about 30 minutes before Nanyuki town. Burglate is a semi arid area, with very minimal rainfall and a river that is almost seasonal. It recedes to very shallow levels during the dry season and flows at a very slow pace. It is to this river that people walk for miles to fetch water, depending on how far they live from it. For some people it takes a whole day to fetch water for their daily use, making the vicious cycle endless.
We are working with a water engineer in Nanyuki town, and we are in the process of obtaining a drilling license in Burglate, so that we will be able to drill there soon. The first stage is aquiring a license to drill.

It is going to cost $400 dollars to get a hydrological report of the land. This will tells us how far down the well will need to be, as well as the precise location on the land where it would be best to drill. We will also be able to pay the engineer, who will be responsible for the whole process of obtaining the license as well as getting a tender from a reputable drilling company. So please join us in this first stage of getting a license to drill.
